Unfortunately some unscrupulous person decided to attack the CPAN Testers server recently, and managed to compromise one of the user accounts, sending several thousand packets to another server attempting what looks like a DDoS. Thankfully the recipient server owner contacted the hosting company, who contacted me, and I was able to take the machine down and reboot, clearing all running process (dubious or otherwise).
The upshot has been to lock down ssh, and review some of the server settings. Apologies to anyone who may have been affected by the downtime, and any slow down in requests prior to the reboot.

Current status?
Is there some way to see the current status of the 'cpan testers pipeline'? For example, I released Devel-NYTProf-2.09_90 on the 18th and I can see it on search.cpan.org (always my first check), but there's no sign of it on cpantesters.org yet. I appreciate that you may still be picking up the pieces after the attack but there's no way for me to tell. Perhaps you could add a 'Status' section to the sidebar. Thanks for all your work on cpantesters barbie!

re: Current status?
Difficult to highlight a status. The reports are mined every 2 hours, and the reports builder runs continuously. How quickly a distribution page gets rebuilt depends on a number of factors; how many reports it has, whether a new release has been uploaded to CPAN and how often someone has tried to view the dynamic page. The latter is the most significant, as that is taken as a priority.
The logic behind the scenes tries to prioritise to rebuild the most used pages. As such some pages can be rebuilt within two hours, whereas others might take several hours. I'm still looking at ways to improve the rebuild, so hopefully the turn around will be much quicker in the coming months.
